How to Lose 10 Pounds in Just a Week

Updated on May 29, 2012

There are those times we start looking in the mirror and do not feel good about ourselves. We see that we have gained too much weight and sick of being tired all the time. What will it take for you to try to lose those extra pounds that we gained over a long holiday bash. You can lose a significant amount of weight in a short period of time but doing so takes a little effort and losing too much weight too fast is extremely unhealthy. Here are 8 steps that you can use to try and lose up to 10 pounds in a week but again everyone is different but I have seen it work for a lot of people

1: The first step is to detoxify your body of the impurities that have gathered over time. Detoxifying your body is fairly simple you can purchase a 7 day detoxifying kit from your local GNC for about thirty dollars or you can use a simple recipe. Using a small amount of lemon juice and honey mixed with wate will help cleanse you of some bad toxins. Then whenever you feel hungry during the day just drink water with the mixture or just plain bottled water. I prefer the 7 day natural treatment and this at the same time but try what you will think best.

2: Losing weight fast is for that next bikini requires the dreaded food withdrawal. Greatly limit the amount of food that you intact and when you do eat make sure it is veggies, lean meats, fruits. Think of it this way most of the plate will just be the vegetables that you have cooked. The next quarter try a small amount of fish for protein then the rest of the plate a small amount of fruit. Eating less is not a option for anyone but if you are on a long diet plan eating healthier is always better.

3: The more fruits you can add to your daily intake the better. Stick with real fruits not the sugar fruit juices for maximum weight loss for the efforts. So taking 2 apples and black beans as a main meal or splitting them into one or two of the smaller meals your body will absorb them and work better with it. It’s a trick that many diets do not let you in on. But will help you digest exactly what you need to loose weight fast.

4: Believe it or not your body responds better if you eat smoothing small for breakfast. It really gets your metabolism going first thing. Then at night stop eating after a decent hour like 8pm that way your body is not slowing down the digestion when you go to sleep. This will help burn those access calories that you are trying to burn quicker and smoother as the week progresses. It will also help keep you more energetic on this quickie diet.

5: Limit your fatty intake during your week when trying to loose those 10 pounds quickly. Soda and desserts are a no no. If you get hungry eat an apple or drink a bottle of water to starve it away. If you really must eat the fatty stuff do it early since your metabolism is going to be way higher in the early morning then later in the day.

6: When wanting to lose weight quickly a lot of people turn to the sugar fruit drinks at the local store. Again this will not work if you need fresh juice squeeze it yourself. Otherwise drink a green tea or lemon tea to help you through the thirsty times.

7: I then there is keeping busy. But also motivated it is going to be a long week and nothing witll put it off more is discouragement. So keep the determination no matter what anyone says and you will succeed in that 10 pound mark by the end of the week.

This plan might sound too simple to lose 10 pounds in a week - but follow this plan religiously, and you will see real results. But, remember as always losing too much too fast is bad so always see your doctor if you are experiencing health issues.
