The palaces were originally ruled by both Muslim and christen sects throughout its history. So it will both delight and horrify you with both cultural heritages. The palace was originally built in the 9th century and its beauty has only grown over the years.
2. Barcelona City:
This is a must for anyone stopping in Spain. Barcelona is not only the greatest city in Spain but also its capitol. The city has been very much modernized in infrastructure and in transportation abilities for visitors. The transportation system is for anyone trying to go from one side of the city to the other. It has a rich history that has been particular saved by its residents and you can see it in the many originally architectural buildings, monument, parks, and museums.
3. La Tomatina...Tomato fight:
This is an interesting story of a local village with a unusual festival that is also a must see stop on your tour of Spain. La Tomatina is an actual name of a festival that involves a tomato fight every July. When this small community of 6000 people get to the time of this yearly tradition the city swells to over 40,000 people. The tomato fight is one experience you must see while visiting in Spain and its fun and enjoyable for the entire family.
4. Mezquita Church in Cordoba:
There is an ancient church just outside of Cordoba that is very unusual. In the beginning the Mezquita Church in Cordoba: was a sanctuary for the rulers of Spain to practice their religion. Their religion was Islam. When the church was taking over in the holy wars the church became a center for christen worship. The building is decorated in the Arabic style and built neat the 700’s.
5. Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao:
This museum n bibano houses some of the most historic treasures in all of Europe. The building was originally designed by a American architect and was situated in the very heart of the city. It has beautiful titanium overlays monument sculptures along the roof and a must see everyone visiting Spain.
