Valparaiso is neither prosperous nor known as The Garden City. That would be its neighbor, Vina del Mar.
About a third of the population in Chile lives in its capital, Santiago.
Chile proclaimed its independence in 1818.
O'Higgins (not O'Higgions) is the name of a soccer team. It was also the surname of Chile's Father Founder, Bernardo O'Higgins (who was half Irish).
Concepcion is not in the North. As your own map shows, it's in the South.
I find it a bit alarming to see all these comments from people saying they found the (mis)information in this article helpful for school.
